a bit about me...

My name is Chané, a destination wedding photographer based in South Africa.

I am a self-proclaimed bush baby who grew up in the city and will take every opportunity to go on a quick little adventure, often unplanned but always enjoyable. I also love good company, a glass of wine, trash TV, and dogs.

Whilst based in South Africa, I feel honored to travel all over Africa, Europe, and the rest of the world documenting weddings. Blending my love for documentary-style photography with modern and timeless portraits, I aim to tell your story in a way that reflects you purely.

Why and how did I start documenting weddings?

After high school, I went on to study Chemical Engineering, but I always found myself behind a camera. Now, almost 10 years later, I am still doing both Engineering and photography. I do not consider photography to be a "side hustle" because I really put só much work into it. Let's just agree that I have two full-time jobs! ;)

I've been fortunate to work alongside some of the best wedding vendors in South Africa to create weddings that feel like works of art.
